What items does Alphalpha buy?
We primarily purchase coins and currency, including silver, gold, platinum, or paper money from all over the world. Other items we frequently purchase include jewelry, pocket watches, sports cards, postage stamps, rare collectibles, or associated paraphernalia.
How much will you pay me for my items?
As much as we would love to post a price list, it just isn't possible since the values of coins, precious metals, and collectibles fluctuate constantly. We have access to the best pricing resources available, however, and we use up-to-the-minute market pricing to ensure you get the most money possible for your items.
Do you pay cash?
We offer cash for purchases under $500. For larger purchases, we issue checks.
I inherited a large coin collection and I don't have any use for it, but I don't know what to do with it. Where do I start?
You found the right place. We know it's confusing to sort out someone else's collection, and we understand that you probably feel like you don't know who to trust for a fair valuation. Luckily for you, that's Alphalpha's specialty. Just bring it all to us and we'll take our time sorting it with you, explaining what you have, and helping you decide on the right course of action.
Is your office secure? I don't want to bring my valuables if it's not.
Absolutely! We keep a private office in a shared office building, so there are security cameras monitoring your every move from the parking lot to our inner office, 24/7. As an added security measure, we only meet clients by appointment to ensure that we are personally present to escort you if you desire.
